The PC version of TourBox Console 5.9.0 is now available. This update brings some really fun and useful features. Let's take a look:

    1. Mouse Drag Simulation

This is a neat and helpful new feature. You can assign it to any TourBox knob to simulate a continuous mouse drag.

It's especially handy in programs we haven't yet built official support for. For example, in the open‑source photo editor Darktable, you can use it to drag color‑grading sliders just like you would with your mouse.

After you update to Console 5.9.0, you'll find this option under Built‑in > General (you can only assign it to dials).

It also offers multiple drag‑speed settings so you can fine‑tune it to your workflow.

    2. New Avid Media Composer Preset

Avid Media Composer is a leading professional non‑linear video editor used widely in film, TV, and documentaries. Known for its stability and flexibility, it's the go‑to tool on many Hollywood blockbusters and TV shows.

In this update, you can now import our official TourBox Avid Media Composer preset out of the box and customize it however you like.

    3. Improved Stability

We've fine‑tuned the anti‑misfire system to make TourBox more stable when you're working alongside a mouse or pen tablet. This helps prevent any unexpected inputs.

    4. Bug Fixes

    • Fixed an issue in Adobe Photoshop where clicking a parameter field with a pen tablet wouldn't bring up the "Adobe Photoshop Virtual Numeric Keyboard."
    • Fixed a bug in DaVinci Resolve where the Enter key on the numeric keypad wouldn't trigger shortcuts.
