Macro commands

Action

Configurable macro commands include keyboard shortcuts, mouse action, delay, text input, file and folder opening, and link(URL) directing.

  •  Shortcut - The shortcut allows single or combo input. Command repetition is also available.
  •  Delay - It refers time interval between the previous and next action. You could pick a time option or simply input digits.
  •  Mouse action - Supports actions involving left, right, or middle button clicking or double-clicking, scrolling up or down, mouse pointer moving or dragging. It allows you to choose wherever you want the command to be registered by setting up the coordinate, or how many times you want the action to be repeated.
  •  Text - The text command registers any text you configure.
  •  Open – Here you could also configure a button to open any file, folder, or website through your default browser.

Group

Create, delete and re-arrange groups

  • Create – On the macro command panel, click  on the top right to create groups.
  • Delete – Move the mouse pointer to the group you would like to delete, and  would appear on the right. Click it to delete the current group.
  • Re-arrange – Click, hold, and drag the group to move it to a new location. Release the mouse pointer to fulfill the setting.

Loop

  • Once there is more than one group, the loop mode would be turned on. The icon appears on the top right.
  • In this mode, the actions would run sequentially from the top to the down group, one group per click, in a loop.
  • When the loop mode is off, it would run the group actions from top to down for the first time, one group per click, and after that register the last group all the time.
  • To change the sequence of the groups, simply go back to the preset setting, and click the down arrow  to change it to up

Apply groups in the workflow

Let’s try it out and see how we use Macro to batch color grading in Lightroom and search in Google.
